It’s just about one month shy of being together for a year. This was taken around that time. I still remember most of this night- the way you held me and kept such a bright, drunk, smile.
I cannot express how happy you make me, inside and out.

Now that this one has finished I’m waiting for the French series to finish as well. I did a bit of research on learning two languages, tips, ect and found that maybe for now it isn’t best that I do Italian, because they are so similar and I don’t want to confuse myself while learning.
Also, I should focus more on the language I don’t know (French) than the one I am naturally stronger in (Spanish), so I don’t give them both equal time-focus. It actually kinda makes sense haha.
Hopefully I don’t let me impatience get the better of me to give up on this. I want to learn both languages so bad. I love with when Spanish/French accented customers come in. I just want to talk to them and understand their little inside jokes (/;_____;)/
3Today was my abuelito’s (Grandfather) birthday. Over video call I was able to talk to him. To hear his voice after so long. My spanish was a little rusty, but he said he was proud that I tried. He can’t see me any more. He can’t see anyone. He’s just about blind, but he’s still kicking and it’s amazing.
From there the little laptop was suddenly passed around my foreign family’s room as so many different faces I haven’t seen since I was 15, let alone in person since I was 7 or so, began talking excitedly and greeting me.
I miss my family there. I miss the city. I miss the culture.
Today was also Trent’s 23rd birthday dinner with his parents and grandma. It was really nice n_____n seafood and amazing dessert! I’m such a lucky girl.

4 I am currently filling out a form for beginner archery classes at an archery club/range here.
I’m a little excited, hopefully i’ll see if I really do enjoy it or if it’ll be a once off. Either way, something new and very different.

4 Finally home from my the Sydney weekend escape and Currarong fishing trip with Trent and friends.

I’ve decided that I finally want to push my Spanish and re-learn it… or at least pick up from where i’ve left it at. I used to be so fluent when I was younger. My stupid teenage arrogance has left me with nothing but basics.
With that, I hope to also lean towards basic Italian and French, which are both easier to learn because of being so similar to the Spanish language.
I’m going to give myself two years, or the end of my course-ish to get the basics down. #determination

After a long shitty day and being exhausted, it was extremely exciting and uplifting to have Trent ask if I wanted to go to Thailand with him.
Fuck. I’m so excited.
December was the Pacific Islands cruise, April is the awesome surprise, and now hopefully June or July will be Thailand. It would be a pretty amazing 1yr anniversary get away with him, even with Nik & Sarah.
